Lila Kagedan

Lila Kagedan is a trailblazing Canadian-born Jewish rabbi who has made significant strides in the field of Judaism. Her accomplishments include becoming the first woman to be hired by an American Open Orthodox synagogue with the title of rabbi. This milestone was achieved in 2016 when she joined the spiritual leadership team at Mount Freedom Jewish Center in New Jersey.

Currently, Kagedan serves as the rabbi at Walnut Street Synagogue, an Open Orthodox synagogue located in Massachusetts.
