Herzl paints Herzl
Israel Herzl is a digital painter and activist, known for creating the series of exhibitions "Herzl paints Herzl". As a fourth cousin of Theodor Herzl, he drew inspiration from his notable ancestor. Herzl's work in the "Herzl paints Herzl" series was showcased in a collaborative effort with other Israeli artists.
The "Herzl paints Herzl" exhibitions took place from 1 October 2016 to 2018, traveling to six locations across Europe and Israel. During this time, Herzl's digital paintings were displayed alongside the works of his fellow collaborators, including Shai Yehezkeli, Yael Bar Tana, and Boaz Arad. Through this project, Herzl engaged in activism, using his art as a means of expression and connection to his heritage.
