Jan Fischer is a Czech politician born in 1951. He has held significant positions in the Czech government, notably serving as the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic from April 2009 to July 2010. During this period, he led a caretaker government, overseeing the country's affairs during a transitional phase.
In addition to his tenure as Prime Minister, Fischer has also held the position of Minister of Finance.
