Natasha Shneider
Latvian musician (1956–2008)
Natasha Shneider was a musician of Latvian origin, born in 1956. Her professional career spanned multiple fields, including music and acting. As a talented keyboardist and vocalist, she gained recognition for her work with the band Eleven, which she formed with her partner Alain Johannes. Shneider's musical collaborations extended beyond her own band, as she contributed to recordings by notable artists such as Chris Cornell and Queens of the Stone Age.
Shneider's touring career included notable performances with prominent musicians. In 1999, she and Alain Johannes joined Chris Cornell on his Euphoria Morning tour, and in 2005, they toured with Queens of the Stone Age in support of their album Lullabies to Paralyze. Throughout her career, Shneider demonstrated her versatility and talent as a musician. Sadly, her life was cut short when she passed away in 2008 after a battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of her contributions to the music world.
