Sara Dubovsky
Argentine anarchist activist (1912–1997)
Sara Dubovsky was a prominent Argentine anarchist activist, born in 1912 to Ukrainian immigrant parents, Rosa and Adolfo, who introduced her to the anarchist movement from a young age. Her upbringing had a profound influence on her life's work, shaping her into a dedicated activist and writer. Dubovsky's involvement in the anarchist movement began early, with her contributing to various literary endeavors and engaging in activist pursuits.
Dubovsky's commitment to the anarchist cause led to her imprisonment following the 1930 Argentine coup d'état. Despite this setback, she continued to advocate for social change upon her release. She worked at a library, while also devoting her time to supporting prisoners and promoting their rights.
