Shlomo Riskin

Shlomo Riskin is a prominent American-Israeli Orthodox Jewish rabbi who has made significant contributions to the field of Judaism. He is best known for his role as the founding rabbi of Lincoln Square Synagogue, a prominent congregation on the Upper West Side of New York City, which he led for two decades. In addition to his work in New York, Riskin has also played a key role in Jewish education, serving as the former dean of Manhattan Day School in New York City.
Riskin's impact extends beyond the United States, as he is also the founding chief rabbi of the Israeli settlement of Efrat in the West Bank. Furthermore, he is the founder and Chancellor of the Ohr Torah Stone Institutions, a network of educational institutions that includes high schools, colleges, and graduate programs in both the United States and Israel.
