Solomon Frank

Solomon Frank was a prominent figure in the Orthodox Jewish community, serving as a rabbi and speaker in both the United States and Canada. His rabbinic career spanned multiple decades, with notable positions including his leadership of Shaarey Zedek Synagogue in Winnipeg, Canada, from 1926 to 1947. Following his tenure in Winnipeg, Frank went on to become the spiritual leader of the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue in Montreal, a position he held until his passing.

In addition to his work within the Jewish community, Frank was also actively engaged in interfaith efforts, providing chaplaincy services to both Jewish and Christian organizations and hospitals. He was a skilled communicator, and his weekly radio broadcasts on Jewish thought and practice became a staple of Montreal's airwaves, airing for over 25 years. Through his various roles and initiatives, Frank established himself as a respected civic and community leader, leaving a lasting impact on the communities he served.
