Wendy Amsellem

Wendy Amsellem is a prominent figure in American Orthodox Judaism, serving as an educator and religious leader. She has been ordained by Yeshivat Maharat, a groundbreaking institution that has paved the way for women to assume leadership roles in Orthodox Judaism. As one of the pioneering women to receive ordination from this esteemed yeshiva, Amsellem has become a trailblazer in her field.

Amsellem is actively involved in teaching and academic pursuits, specializing in the instruction of Talmud and Halakha at Yeshivat Maharat. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she also directs the Beit Midrash Program, a collaborative initiative between Yeshivat Maharat and Yeshivat Chovevei Torah.
