Yitzchak Dovber Schneersohn

Yitzchak Dovber Schneersohn was a prominent figure in the Hasidic movement, serving as a rebbe in the town of Liadi. Born in 1833, he was the son of Rabbi Chaim Schneur Zalman of Liadi, and would go on to succeed his father as a spiritual leader. As a rebbe, Yitzchak Dovber Schneersohn played a significant role in the Chabad Chasidic community, guiding a number of followers in Lyady.

Yitzchak Dovber Schneersohn's leadership was part of a larger family legacy, with his brother-in-law, Rabbi Levi Yitzchak, also serving as a rebbe in the nearby town of Sirotin. Together, the two rebbes represented the last generation of leaders in the Liadi branch of Chabad. Yitzchak Dovber Schneersohn passed away in 1910, marking the end of an era in the Liadi Chabad community. His life and work remain an important part of the history of the Hasidic movement and the Chabad tradition.
