Adolfo Benarús

Portuguese professor and painter (1863–1958)

Adolfo Benarús was a multifaceted Portuguese individual, born in 1863 in Angra do Heroísmo. At a young age of 2, he moved to Lisbon with his family, where he would later pursue his academic and artistic interests. Benarús enrolled in the Escola Superior de Letras and the Escola de Belas Artes in Lisbon, laying the foundation for his future endeavors. His academic pursuits extended beyond Portugal, as he traveled to Paris to study at the prestigious Paris School of Painting.
