Alber Elbaz was a Moroccan-born Israeli fashion designer, renowned for his contributions to the art of fashion. With a career spanning multiple prestigious fashion houses, Elbaz brought his unique perspective to the industry. His professional journey included positions at notable houses such as Geoffrey Beene, Guy Laroche, and Yves Saint Laurent, where he honed his craft and developed his signature style.

Elbaz's most notable tenure was as the creative director of Lanvin in Paris, a position he held from 2001 to 2015. During his time at Lanvin, he left an indelible mark on the fashion world. In 2019, he embarked on a new venture, founding the label AZ Factory, which was backed by Richemont. Through his work, Elbaz demonstrated his dedication to the art of fashion, leaving a lasting legacy in the industry until his passing in 2021.
