Ben Zyskowicz

Ben Zyskowicz is a Finnish politician born in 1954. He has been a member of the Finnish parliament since 1979, representing the National Coalition Party. Notably, he was the first Jewish individual to be elected to the Finnish parliament, marking a significant milestone in the country's political history.
Zyskowicz has held various leadership positions within the National Coalition Party. He served as the chairman of the party's parliamentary group from 1993 to 2006. In 2011, following the parliamentary elections in April, he was elected as the speaker of the parliament, a role he held during the negotiations for the governing coalition. Throughout his career, Zyskowicz has maintained a long-standing commitment to Finnish politics, dedicating over four decades to public service.
