Bina Abramowitz was a Russian-born actress who gained prominence in the American entertainment industry. Her career in the performing arts began at the age of 14, when she joined Sigmund Mogulesko's company in Odessa as a chorus girl. She later performed with Naphtali Goldfaden's troupe, further honing her craft. In 1886, Abramowitz rejoined Mogulesko's company for a tour of the United States, a move that would ultimately lead to her relocation to America.

Abramowitz established herself as a successful stage actress in Yiddish theatre in the United States. A notable highlight of her career was her tenure as a leading actress with the Yiddish Art Theatre in New York City, which spanned from 1927 to 1937. In addition to her work in theatre, Abramowitz also ventured into film, making appearances in American movies.
