Gila Martow

Gila Martow is a Canadian politician who has been active in the field of politics in Ontario, Canada. Her career in public service has included representation at both the provincial and municipal levels. Martow's experience in provincial politics began when she was elected to represent the electoral district of Thornhill in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. She held this position as a member of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party from 2014 to 2022.

Following her tenure in the Legislative Assembly, Martow transitioned back to municipal politics. In 2022, she successfully ran in the Vaughan Municipal Election, securing a seat as the representative for Ward 5 on Vaughan City Council. This move marked a new chapter in her political career, which had previously been put on hold after an unsuccessful bid for federal Conservative nomination in 2021 and her decision not to seek re-election in the 2022 Ontario general election. Martow has been serving on Vaughan City Council since 2022.
