Houda Nonoo is a Bahraini diplomat born in 1964, who has made significant strides in the field of politics. Her notable appointment as the Bahraini Ambassador to the United States, which she held from 2008 to 2013, marked a historic milestone in her career. This position was conferred upon her by Foreign Affairs Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, underscoring the Bahraini government's confidence in her diplomatic abilities.

Nonoo's ambassadorial appointment holds multiple distinctions, cementing her place in the annals of Bahraini and Middle Eastern history.
