Mayim Bialik

American actress, television personality, and author (born 1975)

Mayim Bialik is an American actress and television personality, born in 1975. She initially gained recognition for her title role in the NBC sitcom Blossom, which she played from 1991 to 1995. Her subsequent notable role was as neuroscientist Amy Farrah Fowler in the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, a character she portrayed from 2010 to 2019.

In addition to her acting career, Bialik has also ventured into hosting, notably sharing duties on the game show Jeopardy! with Ken Jennings from August 2021 to December 2023. Her performance in The Big Bang Theory earned her multiple award nominations, including four Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She won the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2015 and 2017, solidifying her reputation as a talented comedic actress.
