Meir Teomi

Meir Teomi was a Russian-born actor who immigrated to Mandatory Palestine in 1919. Following his relocation, he pursued a career in film, becoming a notable figure in the region's emerging cinema scene. As an actor in Mandatory Palestine, Teomi's work contributed to the development of the local film industry during a period of significant cultural and social change.

Tragically, Teomi's life was cut short when he was murdered during a terrorist attack in 1947. His legacy extends beyond his own career, as he was also the father of Oded Teomi, who would go on to become a prominent actor in Israel.
