Michael Kremer

American economist and Nobel laureate (born 1964)

He currently holds the position of university professor in economics at the University of Chicago, where he also serves as the director of the Development Innovation Lab at the Becker Friedman Institute for Research in Economics. Prior to his current role, Kremer was affiliated with Harvard University, where he held the title of Gates Professor of Developing Societies from 2003 to 2020.
