In addition to his prime ministerial role, Bennett also served as the alternate prime minister for a brief period, from July to November 2022. Bennett's leadership roles have been a defining aspect of his political career. He led The Jewish Home, a religious Zionist and far-right party, from 2012 to 2018. Subsequently, he took the reins of the New Right party from 2018 to 2022. More recently, Bennett has been at the helm of Bennett 2026 since 2025, a party that is part of the Together alliance, in collaboration with Yesh Atid.
