Pamela Frank is a renowned American violinist, born in 1967, who has established an active international career. Her versatility as a performer has led to a diverse range of engagements, showcasing her exceptional musicianship. This talent was formally acknowledged in 1999, when she was awarded the prestigious Avery Fisher Prize, a distinction bestowed upon outstanding American instrumentalists.
In addition to her accomplishments as a performer, Frank has also dedicated herself to educating the next generation of violinists. Since 1996, she has held the esteemed Herbert R. and Evelyn Axelrod Chair in Violin Studies at the Curtis Institute of Music. Furthermore, in 2018, she expanded her academic role by becoming an adjunct professor of Violin at the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music.
