Selig Hecht
American physiologist and author (1892–1947)
Selig Hecht was a prominent American physiologist and author who made significant contributions to the field of biology. Born in 1892, Hecht went on to become a professor of biophysics, with a particular focus on the physiology of vision. His research in this area led to the publication of numerous scientific papers, including studies on the photochemistry of photoreceptor cells.
