Yair Lapid

Yair Lapid is a prominent Israeli politician and former journalist, currently serving as the Leader of the Opposition, a position he has held since January 2023, and previously from 2020 to 2021. He is the founder and leader of the centrist Yesh Atid party, which he established in 2012. Lapid's career in politics has been marked by various key roles, including his tenure as Prime Minister of Israel in 2022, from July 1 to December 29.

In addition to his time as Prime Minister, Lapid has held several other significant positions within the Israeli government. He served as the second alternate prime minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs under Prime Minister Naftali Bennett from 2021 to 2022.
