Abraham Albert Cohen was a novelist of Greek origin, who went on to become a prominent figure in Swiss literature. Born in 1895, Cohen's life was marked by a blend of cultural influences, being a Romaniote Jewish Swiss. His writing career was complemented by his work as a civil servant, during which he was associated with several international organizations, including the International Labour Organization.
Cohen's literary output was characterized by his use of the French language, despite his diverse cultural background. In 1919, he officially became a Swiss citizen, further solidifying his connection to the country.
