Efim Minin

Belarusian artist and graphic artist (1886–1937)

Efim Semyonovich Minin was a Belarusian artist and graphic artist of Jewish origin, born on 20 October 1896. His artistic career spanned several decades, during which he made significant contributions to the field of art. As a Byelorussian artist, Minin's work reflected the cultural and aesthetic traditions of his native region.

Minin's life was tragically cut short when he was executed in Vitebsk on 29 December 1937, a victim of the Stalinist repressions that swept through the Soviet Union during that period. Despite his untimely death, Minin's artistic legacy remains an important part of Belarusian cultural heritage, a testament to his skill and creativity as a graphic artist and painter.
