Josh Greenfeld
American writer (1928–2018)
Josh Greenfeld was a renowned American writer, primarily recognized for his contributions to the film industry. Born in 1928, he established himself as a talented screenwriter, collaborating with notable figures such as Paul Mazursky. One of his most notable works is the screenplay for the 1974 film Harry and Tonto, which garnered an Academy Award nomination for Greenfeld and Mazursky. The film also earned its star, Art Carney, the Oscar for Best Actor, further solidifying Greenfeld's reputation as a skilled writer.
