Kenneth Snowman

Abraham Kenneth Snowman was a multifaceted British artist, excelling in both jewellery and painting. Born in 1919, Snowman's life was marked by his passion for art, which he expressed through various mediums. As a jeweller, he demonstrated a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of his craft. His artistic talents, however, were not limited to jewellery, as he also explored the world of painting, showcasing his versatility as a creative individual.

Snowman's accomplishments extended beyond his artistic pursuits, as he held prominent positions, including the chairmanship of Wartski. His contributions to the field of art and antiquities were recognized through several prestigious honors. In 1994, he was elected a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London, a distinction that acknowledged his expertise and commitment to the preservation of cultural heritage. Three years later, in 1997, Snowman was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire, a testament to his outstanding service and achievements. He passed away in 2002, leaving behind a legacy that reflected his dedication to the arts and his community.
