Noa Eshkol

Noa Eshkol was a multifaceted Israeli artist, active in the fields of dance and textiles. Born in 1924, she would go on to make significant contributions to her chosen fields, leaving a lasting impact on the world of art. Eshkol's work spanned multiple disciplines, showcasing her versatility and creativity as a dancer and artist.
Eshkol's most notable achievement was her collaboration with architect Avraham Wachman, with whom she co-invented the Eshkol-Wachman Movement Notation (EWMN) System. Over the course of more than twenty years, the pair refined and developed the system, exploring its various applications and pushing the boundaries of movement notation. Eshkol passed away in 2007, at the age of 83, leaving behind a legacy as a pioneering figure in the world of dance and art.
